Kaley Terrell is 9 years old and a beginner in dog training.
This is her first dog project. Kaley is a member of the Heartlanders 4-H club
in Highlands County. She was inspired by a friend to join the club and this has
brought her tremendous enjoyment. She's always had a love of animals,
especially her dog Cloey. Kaley has been

attending several 4-H functions since joining the club. She attended a training
clinic in Tampa |
September 2007, and then a
fun show in Polk County November 2007.
She received 1st place in
agility for basic on lead (the first time they had ever attempted the course).
While remaining involved with the Heartlanders 4-H group functions, she
also attends weekly dog training classes held by her club leaders, Beverly
& Gordon Ruble.

To help keep up with the practice, and for additional
training, she also attends classes through the Heartland AKC dog club for six
week intervals.
This has become a true passion for Kaley and has been extremely
helpful in her personal growth. |
